MATHEMATICS LECTURER, Concourse, to teach the first year mathematics curriculum in calculus, multi-variable calculus, and differential equations, including coordinating topics, homework sets, exams, etc., with other lecturers in the program to support an integrated educational experience. Will also participate in a weekly program seminar, student advising, program review, and other activities to enhance the educational experience of students. Concourse is an interdisciplinary program for approximately fifty first-year students, in which physics, mathematics, and chemistry are integrated with the teaching of humanities. The program is comprised of students and instructors who have broad intellectual interests and who wish to address the fundamental question of what is the good life for human beings, both as individuals and as members of society. Concourse asks if the study of science can adequately shed light on this question, and likewise, if reflecting on the question of the good life can deepen our understanding of science. Concourse proposes to engage these issues in a profound, sustained, and integrated way. Job Requirements:
