Position Summary:

Required Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in Mathematics
• or
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics or Statistics

Job Description:

• This is a tenured-track faculty position.
• Desire candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.

Prefer applicants with:

• Community college teaching experience,
•  Instructional experience in preparatory and college level mathematics,
• Experience working with a diverse population,
• Experience with online/distance learning education,
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings.
• Experience with technology (hardware and software)
• Participation in academic activities related to mathematics or education (department, college, or community.

Supplemental Job Information:

• Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom must attach to the application a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: www.naces.org).
• The faculty screening committee will analyze the strength of your application materials. You should include a complete application, resume/vita, cover letter, unofficial transcripts, and reference letters.
• The faculty screening committee will select the top candidates for an interview that includes comprehensive questions and a required teaching demonstration.

• To complete your application, you must attach a copy of your graduate academic transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, showing attainment of at least the minimum qualifications.
• Do not send official transcripts to the College unless specifically asked to do so later.

• Pay Rate:
• A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union.
  
  Grade 2: Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $49,922.71
  Grade 2+:Master’s Degree with 30 graduate semester hours in the field $52,479.32
  Grade 1: Earned Doctor in major field $55,037.06
